The Kira polymerization lamp features a sturdy ergonomic design and a 10mm diameter metal head, making it ideal for photopolymerization in any area. Keep reading if you want to know all the details.
polymerization
Polymerization is an essential process in modern dentistry, used to harden materials in dental restorations and other procedures.
However, the process can be challenging due to various reasons, such as restless patients, sectional bands that obstruct light, and involuntary hand movements. These conditions can hinder complete polymerization and, consequently, affect the quality of dental work.
Fortunately, Kiyomi’s Kira polymerization lamp is the perfect solution for dental practice. It features a sturdy ergonomic design and a 10mm diameter metal head that is ideal for photopolymerization in any area, whether in anterior or posterior teeth.
ERGONOMIC DESIGN
Furthermore, its ergonomic and compact design allows access to any area of the mouth, ensuring that the light beam gets as close as possible to the photoactivation area, thus achieving greater depth of material polymerization.
The Kira lamp is flat, perfect for working on molars and for patients who have difficulty opening their mouths. Its lightweight design allows dental professionals to perform extended treatments without suffering muscle fatigue.
With the Kira polymerization lamp, you can achieve precise and perfect results in each photopolymerization session, regardless of the challenging conditions that may arise in your dental practice.
SIX AVAILABLE MODES OF USE
The Kira polymerization lamp offers six available modes of use, ensuring you can select the appropriate curing option for each dental treatment.
MODES M0, M1, AND M2
These modes allow you to adjust the light intensity between 1,000 mW/cm2, 1,500 mW/cm2, or 2,300 mW/cm2 with a wavelength ranging from 385 nm to 515 nm, providing a broad wavelength spectrum.
RAMP MODE
This mode gradually increases light intensity from 0 to 1,000mW/cm2 during the first 5 seconds, then maintains a constant output while emitting a sound every 5 seconds.
PULSE MODE
This mode emits light intensity of 1,000mW/cm2, which flashes once per second and emits a sound every 5 seconds.
DETECTION MODE
An exclusive mode of the Kira lamp with a light intensity of 600mW/cm2 and a wavelength ranging from 385nm to 410nm. This mode is ideal for observing fluorescent materials, such as most restorative materials, as well as for assessing lesion depth, caries, hypomineralizations, fissures, and tartar.
Additionally, it is useful for post-orthodontic material removal and excess material removal during cementation, preventing inflammatory damage to the tooth-supporting tissues.
